Based in Southlake, Texas, we dispatch our team daily across North Texas, comprising not just electricians but also dispatchers, service managers, and parts delivery for uninterrupted service. We prioritize safety and satisfaction over speed, offering stress-free exact pricing and a commitment to delivering the service you deserve from start to finish.
With over 22,ooo Customers and close to 50,000 service calls we are securely established and prepared to take care of your electrical needs now and be here to back up our warranties and guarantees in the future.
Operated Day One by Thomas and Tami Church. We are in the office daily and care about every one of our Customers. Each of our daughters have put in the hours and helped with everything from accounting to warehouse stock and know the family business from top to bottom.
Located in the same Southlake, Texas office complex where we opened our doors in 2003. Each morning we dispatch our service vans and Electricians to our Customers all over North Texas.
It’s not just the Electrician at your door, you also have: Dispatchers who will schedule your appointment and keep you apprised of your Electricians arrival time; a Service Manager who is also a Master Electrician and can answer all of your questions and concerns; and Parts Delivery who will bring needed material to our Electricians so the work will continue uninterrupted.
Electrical repair and installation is a service that should not be completed quickly so that the next “number” can be cleared off the service board. There is too much at stake from a safety standpoint to deliver electrical service like a fast food restaurant. We make sure our Electricians are not rushed from job to job. When they are with you, your safety and satisfaction is priority one for them.
Every TLC Electrical Electrician is trained to take the time to correctly troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, or install everything electrical for your home or office. But taking our time doesn’t make it more expensive for you. Prior to starting any work you will receive an upfront Price so you can feel comfortable with the electrical service you are receiving. You can be sure the Upfront Price quoted will be the Price you will pay.
When you call to schedule an appointment, a friendly, knowledgeable Customer Service Representative (CSR) will listen to your needs and respond accordingly. Your appointment will be scheduled as close as possible to your requested date and time, if not exactly. You will receive a call from our CSR when your Electrician is ready to be dispatched to your home or business. Your information and call notes from the CSR will be fully dispatched to a highly trained and professional expert Electrician along with any prior service history on your location. The CSR will give you your Electricians’s name so you know who you will be opening your door to.
When you answer your door, your Electrician will be standing there with a smile on his face, wearing a clean tucked-in white shirt, booties on his feet, and his Identification Badge showing License Information. TLC Electrical Electricians undergo a comprehensive national criminal back-ground check and drug testing prior to employment so you know you will be receiving a safe and trusted Electrician for your electrical service needs. Once you have welcomed your Electrician into your home or business, you will be asked to show and describe the electrical problem you are having or the electrical installation you would like to have completed. At this time, please let your Electrician know if there are any areas in your home or business you wish him to avoid.
TLC Electrical uses Exact Pricing, we do not charge by the hour so there will not be a nasty surprise bill at the end of your service. You will receive a Guaranteed Exact Price in writing prior to your Electrician starting any diagnostics, electrical repair, or installation and the price for your repair or install will not change no matter how long it takes us to complete it. Because TLC Electrical guarantees that our written electrical repair and installation prices will not change, each job must be looked at and evaluated on-site by one of our expert Electricians. Our Dispatch Fee will get one of our Expert Electricians to your door anywhere you live in our Service Area. There are many variables in the existing electrical systems in your home or business, and our CSRs are not trained or qualified to give you accurate pricing over the phone for any electrical repairs or installations.
The same Electrician that prepares your written quote will perform the repair or install. He will go over your written quote with you in detail and answer any questions you may have. Once you approve the work to be performed he will be ready to get started on it immediately. Any additional tools or material needed will be brought to him. We often tell our Customers “he is yours until you are done with him.” Your Electrician will stay onsite and complete your service without interruption.
Your Electrician will work hard and diligently to get the service completed the same day. If more time is needed to complete your service, it will be scheduled for the following day as well. After the repair or install is complete, your Electrician will clean things up and remove any debris from your home or business. He will leave you with a full explanation of how your repairs were made or how your new install works along with any warranty information associated with your service
First time using them and would do so again if needed. Anthony and Mario arrived on time and made quick work of what we needed done. They were courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. We had a ceiling fan installed, a new plug and socket installed and a 6' light in the garage re-mounted (it had fallen down). They finished everything in about 3 or so hours. Being a “licensed electrician” in the State of Texas is not enough to perform “licensed” electrical work. Individuals with a Journeyman, Wiremen, or Apprentice license must be employed by a Licensed Electrical Contractor. To perform any electrical work in the State of Texas requires a Texas Electrical Contractor License (TECL) issued by Texas Department of Licensing and Registration (TDLR).
Texas Electrical Contractors must maintain minimum insurance requirements, have a licensed Master Electrician as a full time employee, employ electricians with current TDLR issued Journeyman, Wireman, or Apprentices licenses, and pay annual licensing and renewal fees to TDLR. Some insurance companies do not cover damage caused by work performed by unlicensed contractors or individuals. Always ask for the TECL number of any electrical contractor.
